He last performed at Enjoy Jazz in 2019 with the Grammy-nominated album "LP5" - now he returns with "A Hum of Maybe". On the current album, producer, composer and performer Sascha Ring, better known as Apparat, continues his characteristic mix of modular textures, complex electronics and impressive vocal presence.

"'Maybe' is not a weakness, but a space in which things can still grow," says Ring. "The 'Hum' is this subliminal current of potential - not a clear yes or no, but the space in between where life takes place."

Apparat's concerts also take place in such an in-between space, as they are immersive live shows that not only inspire musically, but also visually.
