Newly revised 3-hour watercolor crash course

At the same time, we all know that mastering watercolor is not that easy. That's what makes this technique so exciting.

Would you like to try your hand at watercolor painting but don't know exactly how to get started?
Then this workshop is just right for you.

In this course, you will learn the basics of watercolor painting step by step - accompanied by a professional artist. I will show you from my own artistic practice how you can safely get started with this special technique.

This course is designed as an intensive course in a small group and takes place in an exclusive small group. This allows me to respond individually to each participant and guide you step by step.

We will experiment with water and pigments, discover typical watercolor effects and develop a feeling for color gradients and transparency.

We will address the following questions, among others:

- Which materials are really useful for getting started?
- What should you look out for when choosing paper, brushes and paints?
- Which exercises will help you develop a feel for the technique?
- How are typical watercolor gradients and effects created?

Finally, we will create simple flower or nature motifs using the special lightness of watercolors.
At the end, you will take home your own small watercolor painting or a self-designed postcard.

Location - The Painting Room

The Painting Room is a creative studio in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel. Painting workshops are held here regularly in small groups, where beginners and advanced students can try out new techniques and develop their own creativity.
