In 1945, 70% of the museum building designed by Wilhelm Kreis was destroyed.
The tour reports on the pragmatic reconstruction of the building and goes in search of traces of what has been preserved and what has disappeared. This includes the mural "Lebensfreude" by Gerhard Richter, the central section of which has been uncovered.
