Musiknetzwerk Bonn presents: Indie Alternative Metal

Not a project for pigeonholes: The band stands for a sound that is loud, melodic and emotional, honest instead of slick and conformist. Active since 2018, Area South has already played on many Bonn stages and established itself as a permanent fixture in the local scene. Without adhering to genre boundaries, they form their own rousing style from various influences such as Deftones, Tool or Mastodon. In their songs, they talk about depression, childhood traumas and inner struggles not as a pose, but as a genuine confrontation with this side of life. Their music is a journey through pain, anger and hope, intense, uncompromising and full of emotion. Her music is more than just sound - it is an experience.
