Especially today, in a time of complex realities, discouraging disorientation and existential overload, it is important to engage with a thinker who does not make hasty black-and-white judgments, but takes her time, looks closely and wants to understand.

On April 18, 1975, Hannah Arendt arrives in Copenhagen from New York. She is to receive the prestigious Sonning Prize,
the most important Danish award for cultural achievements in the enrichment of European culture. We see Hannah Arendt in her Copenhagen hotel room shortly before the award ceremony. Quickly and as if in a dream, the hotel room develops into the stage of her life.
