ATTIC OCEAN
Support Act Sourcrowd
presented by TALSOUNDS
INFO
Attic Ocean is a shoegaze band from Düsseldorf, known for their shimmering guitars, atmospheric soundscapes and the enchanting voice of their singer Hanni. The five-piece group combines nostalgic influences from the 90s with modern dream pop elements. Their second EP "Retriever" (2024), mastered by Simon Scott (Slowdive), underlines their reputation as "Germany's dreamiest band". In spring 2025, they even accompanied shoegaze pioneers Ride as a support act on their German dates.
With a music video filmed in Tokyo, the song "Lilies And Sea" reached 450,000 views on YouTube within a very short time. The video for "Glow" transports viewers to the back streets of Paris and emphasizes the band's international orientation.

Sourcrowd' wants to tell stories. Stories that are not only entertaining, but also thought-provoking. Stories that move us. Stories that are multifaceted and universal. Telling stories musically gives you the chance to articulate things without hurting anyone, but rather to take you into an emotion. With their music, the band takes the audience into a swirling world of punky, beautiful, challenging sounds. Composed and improvised like the real world, but without the consequences of action. What if? This is a question we can hopefully indulge in
can be hopeful. Sourcrowd was founded in 2020 by Johannes Sauer and Konrad Matheus and has developed an incomparable sound in dark coronavirus times. Finding the right musicians was not easy, but as life would have it sometimes, two wonderful voices were found in Merle Böwering and Armin Mey, with whom the band won the 'Jazz-Undesigned' scholarship from the Dörken Foundation in 2023. With this and other sponsors, the band has already played a series of acclaimed gigs in Germany in 2024.
