In the organizer's words:

SAMS is a goblin who fulfills the wishes of the staid and shy Bruno Taschenbier. Sams loses a blue dot from his face every time he fulfills a wish. A lot of unexpected things happen because Papa Taschenbier doesn't make exact wishes. .... Yes, what do we actually want?

What do we wish for? What do wishes achieve?

A cheerful journey of discovery on remote paths through Bamberg in the footsteps of the first movie DAS SAMS. We explore filming locations and learn about the background, film tricks and Paul Maar, the father of SAMS.

Important:

If the children know the whole movie DAS SAMS, they have a recognition and many questions, then the time flies by. And usually the two hours are not quite enough, as we have a short break in a playground after about 1 hour. A drink or a small snack is certainly not only welcome for the children.

These tours take place exclusively outdoors. Participation is at your own risk. Parents are liable for their children or legal guardians and supervisors. Please dress appropriately for the weather: we are outdoors. (Rain and sun protection, long underpants ...) It can be cold. Toilets are located in the Alte Hofhaltung and cost 50 cents per person.

On the way it is very difficult with toilets, i.e. there are none.

If you have a snack and a drink with you: There is an opportunity to enjoy this on the way.

Public transport: If you arrive by train, you can walk to Domplatz in 30 minutes or take the bus to ZOB = Zentraler Omnibus Bahnhof, change there and take the 910 bus directly to Domplatz.

Parking: The nearest parking garage is Tiefgarage Geyerswörth. The cheapest option is P&R: Park & Ride. There are several options. Please allow enough time.

Meeting point: BA Domplatz, Alte Hofhaltung entrance, at the stone gate, the Schöne Pforte.

This tour is barrier-free for baby carriages and wheelchairs. Dogs are also welcome.
