UPRISING FOR DECENCY ✊🔥

There are state elections in March - and we are making it clear: we will not go along with the shift to the right! That's why we're taking to the streets the day before the state elections. Loudly. Visibly. Together. Hopefully (once again) with thousands.

We are rioting for decency.
We - that's you. That's you. Alliances against the right, initiatives against social cuts, organizations working for protection, empowerment and cohesion, people who stand up for human dignity and social cohesion every day. 🧡

📍 Where? City library / swan pond area, Heidelberg

On the day before the state elections, we say:
Misanthropy, exclusion and social cuts and playing one against the other must have no place.
Democracy means opposing when people are devalued. We will not go along with this. We stand together for decency, for solidarity, for each other and say: Choose human dignity!

The demonstration will start at 1 p.m. at the city library / Schwanenteichanlage and march together through Heidelberg's old town to Universitätsplatz. There, participants can expect a lively final rally with spoken words and content-related impulses, musical contributions and information stands as part of a market of opportunities. The day should not only offer space for protest, but also for encounters and exchange . Carried by voices, choirs and music, a place will be created where attitudes can be seen and solidarity can be felt - with a concert at the end that will bring the uprising for decency to a close together.
