Kick-off event with the "Partnerships for Democracy Bremen North and Center"

You want to learn more about anti-discrimination work and/or become active yourself? Then come to the project market at 4 pm!
Various projects from the Partnership for Democracy Bremen North and Bremen Central will be presenting themselves and offering the opportunity to network. The initiatives and associations will present practical examples and give tips and suggestions for new and own projects.

At 6 p.m. we will be showing the film "We will never be victims again" by Jürgen J. Köster and Elizabeth Dinh.
The documentary highlights the threat posed to people with disabilities and/or mental illness by right-wing ideologies. The rise of the AfD in particular is causing fear among many of those affected. The film explores the question in four chapters: How do these people experience political developments? And what measures do they take?

Action weeks against exclusion and discrimination in the north of Bremen

Events in the north of Bremen from August 27 to September 14, 2025

The north of Bremen is becoming colorful! From August 27 to September 14, 2025, the action weeks against exclusion and discrimination will take place in the north of Bremen. Numerous events, workshops and hands-on activities await you, with which we will work together for diverse lifestyles, participation and solidarity with one another. Let's set an example together: against the right and all forms of group-based misanthropy.

Since 2017, the action weeks have been organized by a broad alliance of associations, institutions and committed individuals from the region. As organizers, we want to encourage everyone to take a critical look at their own prejudices. In addition to raising awareness of discriminatory structures, the events are also about networking and empowerment.
