Auftaktevent für den Monat der Stadtwirtschaft - Baustellenführung im Haus der Photographie | Deichtorhallen in Kooperation mit Sprinkenhof

From childcare and energy supply to major theaters - Hamburg's public companies shape the city's everyday life. In November 2025, under the motto "Wir machen Hamburg" ("We make Hamburg"), the city's economy will be demonstrating just how much it does.

Interested citizens can find out more about the companies at over 60 free events. The Deichtorhallen and Sprinkenhof will kick things off with an exclusive tour of the construction site of the Halle der Photographie on November 5 at 10:30 a.m., which will also be attended by Finance Senator Dr. Andreas Dressel and Culture Senator Dr. Carsten Brosda.

Following the official press event, you will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the building site in the House of Photography.

The heritage-protected southern Deichtorhalle is currently being renovated as the 'House of Photography' for international exhibitions. As part of the refurbishment, new additional space is being created for the F. C. Gundlach Collection and rooms for cultural education. The guided tour of the interior of the Südhalle provides an insight into the status of the construction work.
