A New Year's concert with piano trio in three pictures: Awakening - Light - Future.

A new year begins - and with it a musical journey in three images: Awakening, Departure and Hope. The Elysium New Year's Concert 2026 deliberately strikes a different note - beyond waltzing bliss and baroque splendor. Instead, a poetic soundscape of new beginnings is created under the title Aurora.

With works by Arvo Pärt, Debussy, Schubert, Lili Boulanger, Janáček and Piazzolla, an exciting dramaturgy unfolds: from quiet introspection to the first rays of light to passionate, rhythmic energy. Music that doesn't celebrate, but questions, opens up and tells a story - finely nuanced, modern and deeply felt.

The concert is characterized by chamber music in clear, lean instrumentation - predominantly for piano trio. With this extraordinary program, the Elysium Concerts invite you to consciously experience the beginning of the year: not as a routine, but as a musical departure into the still unknown.
