Drama-thriller mix about a mother who wants justice for her dead son and husband.

Katja has built up a solid existence with her Turkish husband after the birth of their son Rocco. A targeted bomb attack tears Nuri and Rocco from their lives. The police first investigate the Turkish and Kurdish scene, until finally a young couple of neo-Nazis are arrested on suspicion of the crime. Katja watches in horror as they are acquitted in court. Now the young woman has nothing left to lose and sets out on the trail of the murderers.
After the murder of her husband and son, a young woman follows in the footsteps of the perpetrators. A haunting thriller with passionate politics, in which Diane Kruger delivers the best performance of her career.
