Many people are unaware that Johann Sebastian Bach's second wife Anna Magdalena Bach was a great artist in her own right and a celebrated singer before her marriage. The "Münchner Ensemble" allows her to step out of the shadow of her famous husband in selected scenes. With dialogues, shadow theater, dance and singing as well as music from the "Notenbüchlein der Anna Magdalena Bach", the "Münchner Ensemble" creates an impressive, profound and at the same time entertaining evening of theater with insights into (family) life from the female perspective of the Bach family.
