From November 7, the artists Annette von der Bey, Lea Lenhart and Elke Scheu will present their joint exhibition "KLEINE GROSSE" in the gallery at Atelierhaus E71.

Mönchengladbach-based c/o artist Annette von der Bey is showing her multi-part work "Paradise" and invites glass artist Lea Lenhart from Düsseldorf and painter Elke Scheu from Wuppertal to complement the presentation with their own works.

All three artists studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and met after their studies. Artistically, they share a precise, detail-oriented approach in which the small becomes the basis of a complex whole.

The exhibition focuses on small-format works that condense into complex pictorial landscapes - an idea to which the title "KLEINE GROSSE" also refers. At the same time, it alludes to the artistic work that is often created in secret over many years, which only becomes visible in the exhibition space and ultimately grows into large works in this context.
