The highly acclaimed traveling exhibition FIX IT! RENOVATION INSTEAD OF DEMOLITION by Architects for Future and the Association of Architects is coming to the ZfBK - Center for Building Culture Saxony in December.
Under the motto "Renovate don't speculate", the exhibition highlights the urgency of avoiding demolition and shows alternatives for sustainable urban and community development.
16 successful examples from the BDA's conversion atlas reflect the diversity of small and large conversion projects throughout Germany and at the same time illustrate how the conversion, renovation and continued use of buildings can become a central component of sustainable development.
In the extensive accompanying programme, which is organized with the local groups of Architects for Future and the BDA Saxony, we will again present local examples and regional peculiarities in conversion practice.
