- The world is changing. But what does this actually mean for us? For our everyday lives, our view of the world, our images?

With Zeig Haltung: Politische Positionen we are opening a new exhibition format at the Runder Ecke. We invite you to enter into conversation about photography - loudly or quietly, critically or poetically. It is not only the demonstration on the street that is political. What we make visible is also political - and what is not.

The works on display deal with memory, resistance and powerlessness, with fear and hope, with cohesion and disintegration. Political photography can be a silent portrait or a series about empty villages, a snapshot or a poetic image of resistance.

With the exhibition at Showroom Bochum, we want to create a space to present contemporary photography - and to take on new perspectives on the present.
