The Hamburg artist SVEN ROSÉ found his way to painting 15 years ago as an autodidact during art therapy in a psychiatric ward. His work is characterized by powerful animals, extremely reduced forms and a clear visual language of his own. He is a tireless worker, a dazzling personality, painter, draughtsman and sculptor. He has more ideas than he can realize and has no fear of new materials. There are always references to Hamburg. His paintings emerge from the moment and are always completed in one sitting. He works on old fruit crates and coffee sacks, and paints over photos and nautical charts. But his repertoire also includes works on canvas and prints on aluminum dibond.
GORDoN MÜLLENBACH , born in 1972 in Schleswig-Holstein, has been painting since 2005 in various Hamburg studio communities (including SKaM, frappant ev., fux eG), figurative - utopian - cartoonesque and clearly colorful!
The band DANKE TROTZDEM will be playing at the vernissage !
