Ausstellung ‚together forever – macht euch die Erde untertan?‘

In the organizer's words:

As part of the exhibition project 'together forever - subdue the earth?', the Kunstverein is presenting nine artistic positions that deal with the relationship between humans and nature in different ways. Works from the fields of photography, painting and installation reflect the changing nature of this relationship and encourage us to rethink our own connection to the world and the effects of our own actions.

Works by the following artists are on display: Olaf Otto Becker, Herman de Vries, Markus Heinsdorff, Caro Jost, Jonas Maria Ried, Panty Paradise (Veronica Burnuthian and Aelita Le Quément), Carola Vogt and Peter Boerboom, Maxine Weiss, Stefanie Zoche.

How is it possible for humans and nature to live together in the present and the future? This question is omnipresent today. For a long time now, art has made it possible for animal-plant-human beings to cross borders and operate in symbiotic contexts of politics, science, business and technology. It offers space for new perspectives, but as a mirror of the present it is also the place where criticism of social aberrations appears.

Together Forever' provides space for these perspectives: works on the subject can be seen not only in the DG Kunstraum, but also in three other exhibition spaces in Bavaria. The exhibition project was created in cooperation with the Haus der Fotografie in Burghausen, the Verpackerei in Görisried and St. Paul in Munich.
