After a renovation phase lasting one and a half years, the exhibition area in the Kulturhaus Walle Brodelpott is opening its doors with an impressive photo exhibition: Bremen photographer Felix Busse will be showing his latest works from November 22. The photographs will be presented as part of Kunst.Hafen.Walle. - the open studios in Walle.
Since 2007, the self-taught photographer has been documenting the urban landscape of his home city of Bremen with a precise eye. Busse repeatedly finds the appeal for his high-contrast, clear and structured compositions in architecture, street scenes and cityscapes in particular. His photographs resemble a visual puzzle in which lines, shapes and surfaces combine to create exciting pictorial spaces. He moves confidently between colorful and monochrome imagery.
In the current exhibition, the photographer shows snapshots from the Bremen district of Walle - an interim stage of a larger project on Bremen's diversity in the city's districts.
