Ausstellungseröffnung: Bundespreis für Kunststudierende

We cordially invite you to the award ceremony and opening of our new exhibition, 27th Federal Prize for Art Students, on November 6, 2025 at 6 pm in the Forum of the Bundeskunsthalle.

The Federal Prize for Art Students honors seven young artists selected from nominations from 25 art academies. Find out more about the current trend in contemporary art in Germany.

The following were honored:
Maria Gerbaulet, Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design Kiel
Lynn Gerstmair, Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle
Felix Klee, University of Television and Film Munich
Living Room Collective, Hamburg University of Fine Arts
Bubu Mosiashvili, University of the Arts Bremen
Minh Anh Nguyễn, Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design
Federico Torres De Los Rios, Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin

On display are works on themes such as the relationship between man and nature, vulnerability, care and origin, realized in installations, film, digital media, sculptures, paintings, graphics and textiles.

The competition and exhibition are funded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and jointly organized by the Deutsches Studierendenwerk and the Bundeskunsthalle.
