"Backstroke" by Lili Roesing
Melissa, Ilayda, Laura and Elia are there for each other and tell each other everything. But then something happens to Melissa for which she has words, but the group can't find a way to deal with it. Speechlessness and helplessness take the place of familiarity and ease, until the clique threatens to break up. Despite all the resistance, the four try to find their way back to themselves and to each other: "What we are must remain." In "Rückenschwimmen", Lili Roesing tells the story of a sexual assault and the question of how to talk about it and deal with it in a poetic yet unembellished way.

"Goodbye Giants" by Mehdi Moradpour
The hollow speaks. An open-cast mine is the setting and protagonist in "Goodbye Giants" - it performs a dramatic deep drilling in search of a language for the climate crisis. People and animals stare into its abyss and search for an origin, for a mythical-human reason why the earth is being torn open here in order to extract mineral resources. The hollow evokes myths, Prometheus, Zarathustra, Athena's owl and the goddess Kali: they all wrestle with the history of the "giants" and their human descendants. Out of the forest, into the light? Or back to the dark earth forever?

"Balance and Harmony" by Lennart Kos
A week in the entrance area of a meditation retreat. This is where those who can't stand the vow of silence and need to talk retreat to. A bit like the smoking area. Which is also here at the same time. Eslem is here for the first time, Tanja is a regular customer, Älex has come - rather unusually - with his mother and his grandpa Milan. They are all hoping for something special from the very expensive stay. Even if their hopes are very different. Chance acquaintances become a community of destiny. And not everyone gets out alive. A sparkling comedy about the last things: rowan berries and cigarettes, life and death, the end of love and responsibility for one's own life. And, of course, about the ghosts that haunt us when we evade silence. Or not evading it.
