"BACCHUS" is a multimedia theater evening that was developed together with people affected by alcoholism and their families.
Theater, film and texts combine to create an evening that makes stories about alcoholism, addiction and human longing audible and visible. The participants tell their stories from their own perspective - sometimes touching, sometimes humorous, sometimes hurt and yet full of hope. They give the experiences of addiction a space that creates authenticity and closeness. Complemented by cinematic elements and theatrical scenes, the result is a multi-layered portrait that makes the complexity of the subject tangible. "BACCHUS" invites you to listen, look and get involved in the maelstrom of reasons, excuses and longing - an evening about support, loss and the human search for relief and resolution.
