The glass artist Florian Lechner and the Japanese pianist and performance artist Masako Ohta offer a unique experience in a joint sound performance in which light and sound unfold in the room. Florian Lechner makes his glass bowls, which are fascinating not only as art objects, resonate.
Florian Lechner's exploration of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach is a tribute to his father, the composer and conductor Konrad Lechner, who led the Munich Bach Choir during the National Socialist regime. Masako Ohta, who works intensively with poetry, sound and music from Japan, Europe and other cultures, is the ideal partner for this interdisciplinary project.
