BACK TO THE ROOTS | Graffiti Festival Munich
13-14.9.2025 | Munich-Pasing

Munich was already a hotspot of German graffiti culture in the 80s and 90s. One legendary location of this early movement was the former flea market area on Dachauer Straße. Back then, one of the first large-scale, legal halls of fame in Europe was created here - a place for creative freedom, artistic rebellion and collective expression.

With our festival, organized by graphism(@graphism_munich) & Munich Graffiti Library(@munich_graffiti_library), we are building on this energy: 50 selected artists from Munich will create a large-scale production and set a visible sign for diversity, expressiveness & public space as a canvas for a cross-generational culture.
