The internationally renowned countertenor Nils Wanderer and the experienced music producer and multi-instrumentalist Frithjof Rödel are exploring new sounds and forms of musical expression with the WANDERER project.
WANDERER dives into dark and melancholic electronic worlds. Electro and techno sounds meet one of the most impressive voices in Europe. Sometimes in the deep baritone of the narrator, then again in symphonic heights, Nils Wanderer's voice combines the traditional of baroque music with the new of electronic pop music in a previously unheard way.
Frithjof Rödel has been moving successfully between rock and electronic music for 25 years and is at home on the big stages himself with Northern Lite, among others. In addition to his work as a music producer and sound designer, he also composes for film and theater.

Nils Wanderer has had leading roles in the world's most prestigious opera houses, such as the Teatro Massimos in Palermo, the Philharmonie de Paris and the Staatsoper Berlin. He has also sung at the Vatican in Rome, at the Palace of Versailles, in London, Atlanta, Montreal and at the Salzburg Festival. His special voice is enchanting.
The young opera singer is first prize winner of the German National Singing Competition 2022 and was the first German and only countertenor to win Placido Domingo's Operalia 2022. He also works as a director and is committed to queer lifestyles.
