With the attic concerts, the Kulturhaus Schwanen has created a format that deliberately focuses on proximity and intensity. Instead of a large stage, the focus here is on the immediate: a space in which words, sounds and attitudes meet the audience directly. On Friday, January 23, 2026, singer-songwriter Bastian Bandt will be making a stop in Waiblingen with his current tour Pferd & Haus. The evening will be co-presented by the Stuttgart Feierabendkollektiv.
Bandt lives on the edge of the Uckermark and has been traveling between clubs, theaters and festivals for many years. His songs are characterized by poetic imagery, dry humour and melancholy. "Wounded, out of place, virtuoso and with a lot of gallows humor" - this is the sound of his music, which tells of love and loss, but also addresses political issues and deals with East German biography. With his album Trauriges Tier (Sad Animal), he was already named in the arts pages as one of the singer-songwriters who contribute to the identity of a region - without allowing himself to be restricted.
Bandt is now opening a new chapter with Pferd & Haus. His "steel-string space guitar" creates sound spaces that point beyond the small hall and yet remain close. The songs are comforting, inspiring and inviting at the same time - wild, tender and determined.
The attic concert provides the ideal setting: An evening like a living room conversation, full of poetry, sound and attitude.
The attic concert in the Schwanen provides the ideal setting for this: approachable, unvarnished and intense. An evening like a living room conversation, full of sound, language and attitude.
