Baukunst-Lecture: Francesca Torzo / Luca Mostarda

The Baukunst class at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf is continuing its "Baukunst Lectures" lecture series in cooperation with the NRW Chamber of Architects on April 27, 2026.

This time, the internationally renowned Italian architect Francesca Torzo and Luca Mostarda from the young Milan office AMArchitectrue will be guests. The event will be held in English.

Francesca Torzo (*1975 in Padua) is an internationally recognized architect whose work stands for an extraordinarily precise examination of place, material and cultural context. After studying at the TU Delft, the ETSAB Barcelona, the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio and the IUAV in Venice, she worked in the office of Peter Zumthor, among others, whose approach to architecture has had a lasting influence on her work. She has run her own architectural practice in Genoa since 2008.

Luca Mostarda (*1985) runs the AMArchitectrue office in Milan together with Stefania Agostini. The studio was founded in 2017 and works at the interface of architecture, exhibition design and product design.
