Bavaschôro- a fascinating musical fusion that combines Brazilian music with Bavarian charm and wit!

Four talented musicians from Munich, Luís Maria Hölzl, Ludwig Maximilian Himpsl, Xaver Maria Himpsl and Henrique de Miranda Rebouças, bring a unique blend of tradition and innovation to the stage. Since their foundation in 2015, when the four artists met in Munich through their shared passion for Brazilian music, they have made it their mission to create the "Bavarian Choro". Inspired by the music that launched the worldwide success of Brazilian genres such as samba and bossa nova, Bavaschôro bring a fresh and exciting perspective to the world of Brazilian music.

Comical Bavarian lyrics and quotes, skillfully woven into well-known Brazilian choros, together with many choro atypical instruments such as French horn, Portuguese guitar and tuba, lead to the typical sound of this band.

In the last 10 years, the band has achieved impressive milestones: extensive tours, including performances in Brazil and the initiation of the renowned Festival de Chôro Munich. But the accolade was the exhibition of their Bavarian lyrics to the "secret" Brazilian national anthem "Carinhoso" at the Casa do Choro in Rio de Janeiro. An honor that symbolizes the cultural bridge between Bavaria and Brazil. Now even the "Cariocas" know what Fensterln is.

Tickets for the Neuhauser Musiknacht are available in advance from München Ticket. The control wristbands can be purchased on October 25 at the main box office at Rotkreuzplatz and from 7 p.m. at all participating venues.
