We explore the deep connection between silence and the expressive body through the art of full-mask performance. Without the aid of facial expressions or spoken words, participants will discover how they can convey emotions, tell stories, and captivate an audience through their physical presence alone.
This workshop will focus on full masks, which are known from the work of Keith Johnstone, among others. The scene work will take place without words.
Felipe Ortiz will teach in easy-to-understand English.

Director: Felipe Ortiz is a director, actor, artist, trainer and clown from Bogota', Colombia. He is a founding member of La Gata Circo and Picnic Impro in Bogotá. In addition to his studies as a clown and buffon in Paris, he began working with improvisation and acrobatics at an early age.
