It's all about strong characters with emotional lyrics and hooky choruses. Train with Kießling&Kaffka to improvise fantastic songs that have real hook character.

Focus of the workshop:
- The vocal attitude in a character and its emotions
- Finding your own musical idea and structure
- The performance during the song
- Communication between the improvisers (vocals and instrument)

If you would like to take part, it doesn't matter what musical level you are already at, because Jannis Kaffka and Nele Kießling will help you to take your personal improv singing and vocal performance to the next level.

Sat 16.5. | 10 am - 5 pm
Sun 17.5. | 10 am - 2.30 pm

Director: Nele Kießling and Jannis Kaffka have both been improvising for over 20 years and have formed the duo Kießling&Kaffka since 2015. Their virtuoso way of inventing songs as a duo is one of the most exciting things to be seen on improv stages in the German-speaking world at the moment. With the programs "Abschiedskonzert", "Jenseits" and "Viertel vor Fame", the duo tours throughout Germany, at various festivals and established venues.
