Music about what was and what remains

In before and after nature, American composer David Lang transforms environmental texts into a haunting soundscape - accompanied by video projections by artist Tal Rosner, which open up images of nature somewhere between nostalgia and the future. "Mother Nature" is no longer an idyll here, but a resonating space for loss, change and new perspectives.
To mark the 25th anniversary of Chorwerk Ruhr, the choir meets the New York ensemble Bang on a Can All-Stars - an interplay of voice, projection and musical presence. A concert about nature after man - live in the Maschinenhalle Zweckel.

The Ruhrtriennale is the festival of the arts in the Ruhr region - a celebration for all those who yearn for tomorrow. Touching experiences of music theater, drama, dance and more are created between machine halls and blast furnaces.

Pupils, trainees and students up to the age of 30, people doing federal voluntary service and the unemployed receive a 50% discount - on presentation of proof.
