Benefizkonzert der Refugio Stiftung

In the organizer's words:

"Human dignity is inviolable."

Under this motto, Refugio Bremen e.V. has been organizing annual benefit concerts for the work with traumatized refugees in Bremen's Kulturkirche since 2009.

The net proceeds of the evening go to the Refugio Foundation, which supports the psychosocial and therapeutic center for refugees and survivors of torture, Refugio Bremen. A big thank you to all the musicians, guests and visitors who made this special evening possible! Special thanks also go to the Bremische Evangelische Kirche for their kind support.

Eddi Hüneke (formerly of the Wise Guys) was one of the artists who enriched the benefit concert with their commitment.

With his new album "Im Ernstfall locker bleiben", pop singer-songwriter Eddi Hüneke (formerly of the Wise Guys) invites us to celebrate serenity even in stormy times.

In his fourth solo album, Eddi Hüneke unfolds his powerful philosophy of life and envelops his listeners with his unmistakably warm voice. His music is like a best friend who tells you: "The time has come to trust again" - a passage from one of the new songs. In it, he calls for real connections and interpersonal bridges to be built again.

In his concerts, Eddi takes his audience into a world in which life pats us on the back and encourages us: "You are the gift I've always wanted!" ("Every day").

The singer combines catchy melodies and profound messages with empathy, urgency and euphoria. This is how he creates songs that are guaranteed to be catchy: as in the song "Wünsche" (Wishes), which reminds listeners that despite all plans, life usually "does what it wants".

In the song "Kommt alle heut vorbei, hier gibt's ne Hausi!", the father of four addresses the fact that life with adolescents is not always easy.

Eddi once again proves himself to be a versatile musician and rousing entertainer who invites the audience to let go and laugh heartily, even in the midst of troubled times.

His classics such as "Alles wird gut", "Flüstern" and "Träum weiter" underline the emotional depth of the program.
