In the run-up to Christmas, the Bergson is not just a place for contemplation: get ready for our next Day Rave, this time with Holiday Trance!

The listed building was once unused for a long time, but in the 90s, adventurous young people used it time and again for spontaneous, not entirely legal techno parties. The industrial ruin developed into a secret hotspot for the scene - raw, loud and full of character. We are reviving this history with the Bergson Day Rave: This time with the headliners AIROD and MIJA as well as our two local DJs Alicea and Cottí Larje.

AIROD

Hailing from Paris, Dario Brkic aka AIROD is perhaps one of the best representatives of what the French techno scene has to offer when it comes to turning any cold warehouse into a real coal furnace. Since his international breakthrough in 2018 with his first solo 12" record on Molekül, which found instant support from Dasha Rush, Blawan, Randomer, Kobosil and many others, AIROD has continued to develop his own style of techno that is both gritty and powerful, stormy and relentlessly corrosive. A joint performance with French techno great Amelie Lens soon sealed Dario's fate, prompting Lens to hire him for her renowned Exhale parties around the globe.


MIJA

Mija is multidisciplinary and independent. Her career is characterized by versatility and experimentation, always pushing the boundaries of electronic music. Her latest works, show her playful yet sophisticated approach to the hard groove subgenre, combining elements of house, techno and funk.

With the new wave of Eurodance and hardgroove currently sweeping the world, Mija has found a niche where she can combine all her favorite sounds from disco and classic house with the faster BPMs and hardcore rave sounds she grew up with.

Alicea

Inspired by the sounds of Detroit, the UK and Berlin, Alicea incorporates the diverse musical influences into her sets. From groovy & housey techno tunes to trance and dub techno to dark, hypnotic techno, she covers a wide range of genres, which she combines to create her own interesting sound mix, always focusing on groove and dynamics. Her track selection is characterized by spherical chords and analog synth elements.

Cottí Larje

Driven by the timeless techno vibes of the 90s and 00s, Cottí Larje (resident @supergarryklein) brings infectious basslines and hypnotic trance to the dance floor. Her sound? Pure dance energy: groovy, dreamy and impossible to stand still. From acid to trance to energetic dance, Cottí Larje creates a journey that keeps the body moving and the soul soaring.
