For exactly 70 years, the world's biggest music festival has been thrilling fans in every country. A few years ago, it was ridiculed as antiquated, but the ESC has been celebrating a huge comeback for some years now.

For the Capitol veteran with the gentle voice, this contest has always been the musical highlight of the year. Bernd Nauwartat has been celebrating this day in the same way for years. He watches alone, the phone is set to silent, start lists with a rating system are ready and there is only food that doesn't make any noise when chewed.

It has been his biggest dream for a very long time to give a big ESC concert and now the time has finally come.
