Best of Poetry Slam Day 2026 | Legends

Come, let's celebrate the party that poetry slam deserves. We celebrate the spoken word in all its colorful facets - the battle of the arts invites you to a location that gives even the most experienced poetry slam stars goosebumps. In this one particularly special concert hall - the Elbphilharmonie.

And just after New Year's Eve, we'll be shooting all the lighting effects of this event format, which has grown up but is still blazing. Look forward to sparkling performances, bubbling gag volcanoes, glittering eyes and a fat spark of madness. Either way, it will be a brilliant day, divided into three shows.

The crowning finale late in the evening is the Slam of Legends - award-winning artists who have previously performed on slam stages and are now well-known artists. Comedians, authors and musicians who have been performing on poetry slam stages since their first steps and now sweep across the stages as if they were their own living room.

Julia Engelmann
It's 2014 and the whole nation has a lyrical earworm. Julia Engelmann is wowing the whole of Germany with a never-before-seen internet phenomenon, but it doesn't stop at hype, it goes on and on: sold-out solo shows, book deals, talk shows and TV appearances. As one of the most sought-after stage artists who has outgrown the slam, she is right at home on the Legends show.

Quixote
Slammer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist, stand-up comedian and book author. The list goes on and on, because there's virtually nothing Quichotte can't do. His books about his favorite baker sell like hotcakes, his solo shows take place all over the country and with his likeable manner he delights every audience, from Flensburg to Constance, with a mixture of nonsense and seriousness.

Sebastian Krämer
The most beautiful tie knots in the world meet the most gifted piano cabaret artist in Germany - Sebastian Krämer not only masters the piano like no other, he also switches playfully from humorous songs to touching chansons and sets a monument to high art with every performance.

Lara Stoll
Lara Stoll's lyrics are punk with words, frivolous and cheeky, tongue-in-cheek, but never without essence. The winner of the Salzburg Bull is a star of the cabaret scene; she takes aim at everything that can't save itself. Music, film, theater, acting and her roots are in slam - she will bring the necessary rock'n roll to the Elphi!

Harry Baker
"My name is Harry Baker, Harry Baker is my name..." and every person who knows anything about slam can finish the quatrain. Harry Baker, world slam champion and spoken word artist, is a force of nature on stage. His English poems draw on human emotions, combining them with everyday life and the unusual - where does math come together with love? Exactly, with Harry's texts and the Best of Poetry Slam Legends.
