In the organizer's words:
w/ Pettersson and Findus - Birthday cake for the cat (puppet theater) + DJing by Looshyaw & Gelato FM
When it slowly gets warmer outside, one thing is clear: the Z-Bau beer garden opening can't be far away. And because we can't wait, this year we're starting in the last week of April. What's more, it's an anniversary year: after the Z-Bau, the beer garden is now also turning 10! In 2016, the former asphalt area was transformed into a green oasis and has been providing a colorful cultural program during the summer months ever since.
On April 25, the beer garden opens at 3 p.m. in its usual relaxed atmosphere, under parasols and treetops, in deckchairs on the green hill, between table tennis tables and the quiet clinking of glasses. It's a great way to spend the next five months.
The program for young beer garden guests and families begins at 3:45 p.m.: The Rabenberg Theatre performs the puppet show "Pettersson and Findus - A Birthday Cake for the Cat" on the beer garden stage - a loving story about birthdays, friendship and, of course, a very special cake to mark the beer garden anniversary.
From 5 p.m., DJs will provide the background music for the early summer evening, accompanied by foot tapping and good humor. Looshyaw brings hip-hop, rap and neo soul to the beer garden stage in her musical picnic basket, combining catchy beats, good-humored melodies and strong vocals, topped off with happy vibes.
The Z-Bau catering team will provide refreshing drinks of all kinds. The beer garden also kicks off the season with culinary delights: the ImbiZ team prepares vegan delicacies in the Z-Bau kitchen - from hearty classics to creative new interpretations. The Souvlaki-Mobile will also be on site again at the beer garden opening, providing hungry guests with tasty gyros variations. Also there: the little vegan, KV with its legendary barbecue stand and Z-Bräu!
In keeping with Franconian beer garden tradition, guests can of course also bring their own snacks and enjoy them under the parasols.
From 10 p.m. we will move inside, to the gallery, where we will bring the evening to a fitting close with an after-show party.
Admission to the daytime program is free, tickets for the after-show party cost five euros at the Box Office.
