How is AI changing the way we deal with disinformation in the school context? In this workshop, teachers and educational stakeholders will gain a sound insight into current AI-based tools and their potential - but also risks - for educational work. With the help of demonstrators from research and concrete application examples, we will jointly reflect on educational opportunities and challenges. The results will be incorporated into a practical guide for professionals.

The workshop will be led by Isabel Bezzaoui. Bezzaoui is a research associate at the FZI. In the Information Management & Analytics department, she conducts research in the DeFaktS project on disclosing and combating disinformation campaigns.

Who is the workshop for?
Teachers, pedagogical staff and extracurricular educational actors with a focus on offers for young people in middle and high school are invited.

What can you expect?

• Practical insights into the use of AI to combat disinformation and interactive use of current FZI demonstrators
• Reflection on educational applications and risks
• Exchange with educational stakeholders and scientists
