„Birds & Curses“

In the organizer's words:

Exhibition "Birds & Curses" by Ele Kittl & Uta Alexander

The exhibition "Birds & Curses" shows two artistic positions that play with mood, language and expression in very different ways.

Ele Kittl captures the soul of Munich with her camera. Her photographs combine the tranquillity of nature with the vibrancy of the city and show familiar places in a new, atmospheric light. Between historic buildings, snow-covered bridges and quiet moments in the morning, she creates poetic images that radiate both familiarity and thoughtfulness.

In her series of works Cursecore Dichotomy,Uta Alexander explores the tension between raw language and playful aesthetics. On colorful, detailed panels, she combines materials such as wood, glass, metal, jewelry and found objects to create lively mosaics. In the midst of glittering decoration, exclamations and curses suddenly appear - provocative, humorous and with a wink.

Together, Kittl and Alexander create an exciting interplay: here the quiet poetry of urban landscapes, there the loud, colorful world of modern expression. "Birds & Curses" invites visitors to discover beauty and meaning in contrasts - between softness and sharpness, calm and rebellion.
