BLACK SERIES – Ausstellung & Lesung mit Künstler miNo® und Dr. Claus Classen

Can you create art with no color?

The BLACK SERIES exhibition by artist Michael Nolte, alias miNo ®, at the Lünen City Library deals with this question.

Black becomes the central artistic element in his works. The works play with contrasts, materiality and light - between reduction and powerful presence. Inspired by art historical positions such as Kazimir Malevich, Ad Reinhardt or Pierre Soulages, the series examines the effect of black as an independent visual language.

The exhibition will be accompanied by readings by the author Dr. Claus Classen, who will read from his book "Schwarz - Faszination einer Farbe".

Michael NOLTE and Dr. Claus Classen will be present in person on all days.
