In an inhospitable landscape where the wind blows incessantly, three people, each with their own dance and language, express the weaknesses and worries of a humanity that has to deal with a hostile environment in its loneliness. The visually charged aesthetics become the framework in which the most intimate aspects of humanity are revealed - its dark and humorous sides, its unfulfilled dreams, fantasies and longings.
The Franco-German company ONZE CHAMBRES combines the work of choreographers Claire Pastier and Daniel Rakovsky. The artists explore dance in dialog with other arts, in particular the visual arts, film and physical theatre. With its decidedly transnational roots, the company strives to deepen the artistic links between Germany and France.
This new version of BLIZZARD is a revised revival of the piece that premiered in 2024.
