In the organizer's words:
One day of action - two events. To mark Biodiversity Day, we clean our canals near the castle pond with volunteers from Benrath and the surrounding area. Waste, not least plastic waste, decomposes in long-lasting processes. In the form of micro- and nanoparticles, it is eaten by animals and absorbed by plants - a dangerous path that ends up in human food and therefore in all of us. The second part of the event consists of a bat tour.
Meeting point: 2 p.m. at the museum store, no ticket required
Duration: 2 - 5 p.m.
Tools and equipment are provided.
The event is suitable for families.
