Most of our bodies and the earth consist of water - an element that is both an elixir of life and a scarce resource. Iván Pérez, the artistic director of Dance Theatre Heidelberg, dedicates his latest dance piece to the multifaceted relationship between humans and water. In a choreographic journey, he delves deep into the physical and emotional power of this element and asks fundamental questions: Who are we in relation to water? What connections shape our being with this essential component of life? And how can bodies of water - aptly referred to as "bodies of water" - be an inspiration for dance and choreography?

An artistic team of trusted contributors brings this vision to fruition: Composer Rutger Zuydervelt creates a multi-layered soundscape, set designer Yoko Seyama creates a visual world and Naomi Kean creates a flowing costume design.
