Bodo Wartke sings classics and brand new songs for the 2026 tour. With the SchönenGutenA-Band, the piano cabaret artist presents new arrangements, songs in rough versions and text experiments from the band's workshop alongside popular songs from his seven programs. Discover the new, enjoy the tried and tested!
Bodo's collaboration with the SchönenGutenA-Band, his 3-piece backing band - René Bosem (bass), Franky Fuzz (guitar) and Robert Memmler (drums) - has now lasted more than 15 years. In 2010, the three musicians accompanied Bodo on his Germany-wide tour for the program Noah war ein Archetyp as well as in 2010, 2011 and 2023 to the largest singer-songwriter festival on the monastery meadow of Banz, in Bad Staffelstein.
Under the motto "In good company", the four musicians have met again and again in recent years, resulting in a repertoire in which, on the one hand, Wartke's songs gain new facets through the band arrangements and, on the other, exclusive compositions can be heard that are only available in band arrangements.
The repertoire ranges from "Gaffer", one of the piano cabaret artist's earliest songs, to his socio-critical pieces such as "Heilige Schrift 2.0" - worth listening to: the rapped articles of the German constitution in "Das Grundgesetz" - to formidable new interpretations of arias and scenes from Mozart's Magic Flute.
