The Bonn Jazz Choir has been delighting audiences with its unmistakable vocal jazz-pop for 20 years now. The repertoire includes jazz and swing standards as well as singer-songwriter ballads, groovy funk, captivatingly different arrangements of German folk music and always a few new surprises.

Since the ensemble was founded in 2003, the 50 or so singers have gone from strength to strength... The Bonners have now enjoyed numerous national and international successes and have regularly performed live in their region and beyond the borders of the Rhineland for years. Highlights of their success include 2nd place at the international competition of the renowned Aarhus Vocal Festival in 2011, 3rd prize at the German Choir Competition in 2010 and 2nd prize at the German Choir Competition in 2014.
Most recently, the Bonn Jazz Choir achieved the best result at the NRW 2022 State Choir Competition in Dortmund and was forwarded to the 2023 German Choir Competition in Hanover.
Andrea Figallo has led the Bonn Jazz Choir since January 2020 - a multiple Grammy and Cara-nominated singer, producer, arranger, choirmaster and popular coach and juror in the high-ranking international a cappella scene. Previously, jazz musician Sascha Cohn shaped the profile of the Bonn jazz choir and its unmistakable sound from 2009 to 2019.

With a repertoire of modern pop music that captivates with expressive lyrics and compelling storytelling, this concert promises to be a rousing musical experience. NABLA is a new choir from Aalborg, Denmark, which has quickly made a name for itself on the modern vocal music scene.

NABLA stands for beautiful and rich harmonies that go straight to the ear and pamper the auditory canals, as well as for somewhat edgier music in which both the lyrics and the music challenge the listener.
The repertoire consists of modern pop music where the emphasis is on the lyrics and storytelling. The songs are performed in strong, original vocal arrangements by the conductor and choir members.
NABLA has given major concerts throughout Denmark and has appeared on national television shows, among others. The largest performance to date took place in late summer 2024 in front of over 10,000 people.
The conductor of NABLA is Line Groth - a well-known name in the world of modern vocal music. As a singer, arranger and co-conductor of the world-famous choir Vocal Line, she has performed with artists such as Bobby McFerrin and the Rolling Stones.
