El suspiro de un mortal, nalgas hechas de pixel!

PERREANDO HARDCORE invites the audience to engage with hidden emotions amplified by social media and offers a space for self-reflection in a world that stigmatizes vulnerability. Using motion tracking, dancers are projected into a virtual environment in which real-time movements merge with gothic visuals and melancholic soundscapes. At the center of the piece is Traumacore, a TikTok aesthetic that combines hyper-melancholic imagery with the raw aspects of trauma. The remix of dance, motion tracking and virtual imagery creates a surreal, bittersweet tragedy in which the disturbing and the comforting exist simultaneously.
The choreography embodies vulnerability, fragmentation and resilience, using movements that contrast softness with sharpness and glitches. The combination of dance, gaming and gothic aesthetics questions social norms and reflects on identity. The fragmented choreography reflects dissociation and transforms the stage into a space for catharsis and connection.
The influences range from southern gothic to cyborg horror and evoke uncanny figures - conjoined twins who synchronize, larvae that transform into monstrous butterflies, cyborgs caught between beauty and terror. The soundscape is produced digitally and automatically (autotune) and mixes compressed elements of nu-metal, reggaeton and shoegaze. The result is an unsettling yet sensual atmosphere.
This interdisciplinary project is a collaboration between dancers, game developers and designers who combine motion tracking and gaming to create an immersive experience that redefines dance and non-linear storytelling.
