Sven Schmid leads us on touring skis through the winter world of the Alps, from the Bavarian and Allgäu mountains to the high mountains of Uri, Bern and Valais. Lovely snowy landscapes in the foothills of the Alps contrast with bizarre rock and glacier landscapes beyond 4000 meters. In addition to multi-day traverses such as the Great Reibn and the classic Haute Route, the program includes high peaks such as the Dammastock, the Grand Combin, the Mönch, the Aletschhorn and Mont Blanc. Spectacular aerial shots from a camera drone provide unique impressions.

The lectures take place in the section room of the Alpine Museum on the Praterinsel.
