The perfect start to an enjoyable Würzburg weekend on winter weekends. The tour starts at the Falkenhaus on the market square and takes you to the city's most sociable meeting point, the Old Main Bridge. Over a glass of Franconian mulled wine or non-alcoholic punch, the guided tour offers fun and interesting facts about the city and Würzburg's most beautiful pastime, the "Brückenschoppen".

From the meeting point in front of the tourist information office in the Falkenhaus on the Oberer Markt, the tour takes you past the Gothic Marienkapelle chapel, the town hall and the Vierröhrenbrunnen fountain to the Alte Mainbrücke bridge. It is one of the most important connecting routes in the city and has always brought people from all over the world to and through Würzburg. For around 300 years, 12 bridge statues have adorned the niches on both sides: they would like to be - but not all of them are holy. The tradition of "Brückenschoppen" is much younger.
