In the organizer's words:

The BUKOWSKIS are a redneck punk band from Braunschweig that has been on the road with honest noise, crude humor and a clear rejection of good manners since its foundation. Musically somewhere between German punk, pub rock and garage sound, they deliver snotty guitar noise with lyrics from the underbelly, direct, provocative, sometimes funny and sometimes painfully honest. They have long had a regular audience in Braunschweig.
And it's not just them who have really taken to the current album "Viva La Vollrausch". For this reason alone, we have brought the "dirty old men" back on stage at the KufA Haus.

Their songs are not about false heroes, but about pub-goers, the broken, the lovelorn and the survivors. About booze, sex, self-doubt and the bittersweet chaos of everyday life - wrapped up in two-minute tearjerkers!

BUKOWSKIS, that's German Prollrock since 1998. They mix their Rock'n'Proll from classic Rock'n'Roll, English Punk and German vocals. Songs to sing and party along to!
