At a time when autocrats, dictatorial regimes and warlike conflicts want to become the new normal, this planet needs love and the courage to revolt above all else!
Even in privileged societies, populism, conspiracy thinking and constant nagging are booming - everywhere you look there is a bad mood, but Butterwegge is not playing along.

The 3 boys and 3 girls oppose hatred, see themselves as accomplices of love, and plead guilty in the spirit of hope and optimism.
With their fresh and colorful mixture of ska, punk and reggae, political attitude and a good shot of joie de vivre, the Ruhrpott formation brings a much-needed boost to an often disillusioned society.
Butterwegge still hold their own and combine a clear edge with wild party excesses. Better to plant wildflowers than bury your head in the sand. For love, revolt and collective awakening!
