Cafi Chanta invites you to a special Christmas evening at Import Export, a night where live music, warm flavors, and community come together. Two unique acts will take us on a journey through Arabic sound, each in its own language of emotion and rhythm.

🎶 Mounib Gharbi opens the evening, a Tunisian singer whose soulful voice and Tarab-inspired repertoire create an intimate, heartfelt atmosphere. Accompanied by Akram Louati (keyboard), Ahmed Hajji (cello), Amine Zghidi and Karim Abbes (percussion), and Salih Jebali (nai), Mounib and the ensemble bring timeless Arabic classics to life with elegance and depth.

✨ Sharake, the Berlin-based duo of Yazan Al Sabbagh (clarinet) and Saleh Katbe (oud), follow with their signature electro-Arabic sound. Combining traditional instruments with minimal electronic textures, their music unfolds as an emotional, cinematic experience rooted in cultural memory and migration. After their captivating performance at Cafi Chanta’s Zarda Festival last summer, they return to Munich to close the year with warmth and rhythm.

Between sets, enjoy street food, a small bazaar, glühwein, and a cozy beer garden.
